Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden Visits Scania East Africa

Scania East Africa is honoured and pleased to have hosted Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden at its sales and service centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
Accompanied by Johan Forssell, the Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, and H.E. Ms. Caroline Vicini, the Swedish Ambassador to Kenya, the Crown Princess took a tour of the company’s new modern facility, which comprises of a fully stocked parts warehouse and service centre, which is an investment as part of the company’s commitment to the region in enhancing its service offering to its customers.
Speaking during the visit, Johanna Lind, the Country Manager at Scania Tanzania presented the company’s objective in East Africa in providing sustainable transport solutions to improve urban and regional mobility in the region. Additionally, as part of the company’s vision of driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system, alternative fuels such us compressed natural gas and biodiesel are what the company hopes the region can adopt supported by the infrastructure of the local governments and industry stakeholders.
HRH Crown Princess Victoria was on a visit to Kenya with HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, which was organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in collaboration with Sweden and Norway.
