Drivers area

The S-series cab was created with maximum driver comfort as the central design goal. The high-mounted cab offers the driver an excellent view of the road ahead, while a low dashboard and low side windows give the driver wide visibility angles.

Life on the road

Long haul drivers can spend weeks in their Scania. The S-series cab has a flat floor, giving the driver maximum freedom of movement as they transition from driving to resting and sleeping. Copious storage space, a reclining seat, extendable 1,000mm bed, and integrated fridge/freezer offer the driver a range of home comforts to make life more comfortable.

Fuel consumption

Great design isn’t all about good looks. The cab front design, improved roof, and enhanced side air deflectors look great – but they’re also aerodynamically designed to reduce your fuel consumption. The side skirts are placed higher and optimised to work with the signature swage lines.

Cooling system

An excellent climate control system provides a consistent temperature with a fast response time. Coupled with great insulation and integrated auxiliary heaters, and the option of a ventilated seat, driver comfort is achieved whatever the weather.

Cab comfort

The improved cab and powertrain suspension reduces vibration, as do the enhanced positioning and improved air suspension on the front axle – which also contributes to better handling and stability. Designed for maximum comfort, the driver seat can be adjusted to find your perfect driving position.

Integrated lighting

The lighting is one of the most prominent features of your truck, enhancing both its appearance and safety levels. As part of the basic configuration, position lights and extra lights are now integrated into the cab, without having a negative impact on aerodynamics.
