SCANIA SHARES ITS TOTAL SOLUTIONS FOR BEST PROFITABILITY WITH PETRONAS TANKER OPERATORS AND DRIVERS

Scania Malaysia was at the inaugural Road Tankers Operations Guidelines Day 2014 (ROTG) organised by Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) on the 28th of August. Scania showcased a wide range of products and services solutions can contribute to operators’ profitability, including the potential of Scania Fleet Management System.

 

“The RTOG Day 2014 was created to test the skills of the drivers of PDB’s operators in handling unexpected critical situations when they are on the road, “stated Tn. Hj. Mohd. Shobri Hj. Abu Bakar, Head of Supply and Distribution Division.

 

Tn. Hj. Shobri also thanked all participants, especially Scania Malaysia who demonstrated the potential benefits of Scania Fleet Management System to PDB’s operators. Representing PDB at the event was also En. Wan Murdzaffa Wan Mahmud, Senior Manager, Fleet Management Department, Supply and Distribution Division.

 

“We wanted to demonstrate Scania Fleet Management System’s potential as part of our total solutions packages. We always say that drivers are the asset for any haulage operators and they will need all the system’s help in order to get the best out of their vehicle. With the combination of the truck driver, Scania Fleet Management and Scania Driver Coaching; operators will be able to get improved total operating economy, improved uptime through reduced wear and tear and higher level of safety,” said Tn. Hj. Idros Puteh, Country Manager for Scania Malaysia.
