SCANIA SHARES ITS SCANIA ECOLUTION FOR BETTER FUEL EFFICIENCY AND CO2 EMISSION REDUCTION

Kota Kinabalu, 16 March 2019 – Scania Malaysia was at the inaugural Road Tankers Operations Guidelines Day 2019 (RTOG) organised by Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) at Kotamas Oil Sdn. Bhd. on 16 March 2019.  This event was created to test the skills of the drivers of PDB’s operators in handling unexpected critical situations when they are on the road. About 400 visitors were at the event and a total of eight companies participated in the competition – all business partners of Petronas.

 

Scania introduced Scania Ecolution which is a tailor-made partnership between customer’s business and Scania, with the sole purpose to reduce fuel consumption up to 10% and lower CO2 emissions.

Petronas’ sustainability focus in upholding operational excellence in the way we conduct our business and our role in accelerating socio-economic growth as a responsible business is also in line with Scania’s mission,” said Daniel Tan, Sales Director Scania Southeast Asia.

Scania is explaining to our customers on how Scania Ecolution can help operators in Malaysia save up to 10% in fuel consumption and reduce CO2 emissions for a greener environment.

Gary Chin, Scania National Truck Sales Manager, gives a heads-up to customers on the New Truck Generation.

Scania demonstrated Fleet Management System (FMS) on how it can help operators get data from the system in order to provide reports on driver behaviour, utilization, vehicle performance and fuel consumption.

Visitors are checking out Scania genuine parts which are designed for the safety and contribute to a significant reduction in overall maintenance costs.
