SCANIA AND EDSHA SOLUTIONS CONTINUES TO DRIVE SUSTAINABILITY IN WASTE MANAGEMENT TOGETHER
Batu Gajah, Perak, 16 December - Edsha Solutions Sdn Bhd (Edsha Solutions) and Scania continues to drive sustainability in Waste Management with Ecolution signing. Edsha Solutions joins a long list of sustainable partnerships with Scania and is A Good Company.
Wong Nyooklin, Region Manager- Region North, Scania Southeast Asia, signed the sustainability agreement with Edward Ponniah, Managing Director of Edsha Solutions while handing over the G360A4X2NA at its recycling facility in Batu Gajah. Apart from enjoying the best reliability, fuel-efficiency, reduced CO2 emission, increased frequency of payload and uptime, Edsha Solutions will also strengthen its business commitment of transporting and recycling scheduled waste more effectively with the environmentally friendly Scania G360 truck. The Scania G360 comes with the complimentary Scania Fleet management System Control 10 and 24/7 Scania Assistance, and Repair & Maintenance Contract and Financial Services’ Hire Purchase for seven years.
Established in 2013, Edsha Solutions received its ISO 14001 in 2015 and ISO 45001 in 2018 and is the Prime Minister’s Hibiscus Award winning for 2019/2020. Aiming to achieve 100% customer satisfaction Edsha Solutions is licensed by the Department of Environment for the transportation and recycle of scheduled waste in Malaysia. Other services include desludging with special equipment, industrial scale laundry services, and the sale of recycled products such as used HDPE and metal drums, used carboys, cotton rags, recycled paint and many more. The Fleet Management System Control 10 gives real time positioning of the Scania G360, vehicle performance, environmental reports, service planning and driver evaluation.
The Scania Credit’s Hire Purchase gives Edsha Solutions a comprehensive logistical solution for a total peace-of-mind. It will also realise profitability immediately with fixed and predictable monthly cost from the Scania Instalment Plan.
The R&M contract will give Edsha Solutions worry-free operation due to predictable costs for seven years. It will be able to focus on its business by fully utilising the Scania G360 with planned downtime giving maximum uptime due to precise scheduling for repairs and maintenance. Safety comes standard with the Scania G360s that are fitted with technologically advanced Electronic Braking System (EBS) and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with traction control, and hill hold to avoid runaways on steep stops. The Daytime Running Light (DRL) gives better visibility for surrounding vehicles when on the road. The adjustable seat that is close to the door, ergonomic dashboard, and large windscreen with extended view make it easier for the driver to operate in a safe and comfortable environment. The sleeper cab will enable rest and relaxation for the driver when required at stoppages
