Marine auxiliary engines
Scania marine auxiliary engines are designed to secure reliable power at constant speed of 1500 or 1800 rpm, and can also help make your propulsion system more sustainable with auxiliary engines installed as part of a diesel-electric operation or backup engines for the fully-electric installation.
We provide electric machines, batteries, and engines that span from 220 to 1.150 hp (162-846 kW) in combination with additional equipment like marine transmissions, alternators, instrumentation, as well as design and installation support, operational follow-up and comprehensive after-market support.
