Our Scania Assistance team is made up of expert field technicians, who specialise in all of Scania’s products including truck, bus, coach and marine. -

West Pennine Trucks E-mail Domain change Our e-mail address domain has changed, so we want to spread the news with all of our customers and suppliers. Keeping it simple, our website has always been westpenninetrucks.com and now we’ve got e-mails to match it, too. What has changed? The new domain for our e-mails now ends in westpenninetrucks.com instead of scania.com. E.g. joe.bloggs@scania.com has become joe.bloggs@westpenninetrucks.com How do I contact my local team? All our staff members are now using @westpenninetrucks.com e-mail addresses. So in most cases you simply need to change the domain. Should you have any issues reaching an existing contact at West Pennine Trucks then call one of our branches or use the contact form here on our website. What next? Oswestry win Scania Service Team Award 2023
West Pennine Trucks Oswestry have been declared the winners of the 2023 Scania UK Service Team Awards (STA). The announcement was made at a black tie event at Celtic Manor Resort in Wales, recognising excellence and consistency across the Scania UK network. It’s the first time the Oswestry branch has won the prestigious competition that is focused on a number of key customer focused metrics, making it a particularly impressive achievement. -
New Managing Director at West Pennine Trucks
West Pennine Trucks has announced the appointment of Richard Gilliland as Managing Director. Gilliland, who has more than 20 years experience in the commercial vehicle sector, previously held the position of Aftersales Director at West Pennine Trucks for nine years. Gilliland said, “I’m delighted to be able to lead the West Pennine Trucks team and continue to deliver the best possible service to our customers.” West Pennine Trucks are the franchise partner of Scania from the Northwest down into Mid-Wales, with branches in Middleton, Trafford, Stoke, Telford, Oswestry and Knighton with a further two VMUs in Heywood and Whitchurch. During his tenure as Aftersales Director, Gilliland oversaw four out of the six branches win the prestigious Scania Service Team Awards (STA) including Oswestry in 2023. Gilliland explained, “I want to continue to improve and grow the business but not lose focus on our number one priority, our customers. We have a great team of experienced people at West Pennine Trucks and I want to build as strong a network as I can in order to give our customers the confidence that we can support them.”
