Safety Changes
This year, our industry is implementing revised safety regulations designed to enhance road safety, improve driver welfare, and ensure environmental compliance. Stay informed about these changes to ensure smooth operations and continued compliance.
Direct Vision Standard
Direct Vision Standard requirements in London are changing. To improve the safety of all road users, heavy goods vehicles over 12 tonnes will need to have a three- star rating or fit the Progressive Safe System (PSS) to operate in Greater London, from 28 October 2024.
Tachograph Legislation
A new version of the smart tachograph has been mandated by the UK and the EU for all commercial heavy-duty vehicles, registered from the 21st August 2023. All vehicles registered before 21 August 2023 will need a SMT2 if you engage in cross-border traffic.

O-Licence Protector
We’ll carry out your O-Licence inspections, storing them online, so you can access a copy any time you want. We’ll also take care of your annual MOT, including presentation, journey to the test station and a steam clean for MOT.

Turning to biogas can achieve significant CO2 reductions. Biomethane-based solutions are readily available via rapidly growing fuel-station networks and the CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 90% from a well-to-wheel perspective.
