SAP functional analyst

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements. The Parts Logistics IT team is now looking for a new SAP functional analyst to join this exciting journey!

 

You will support the team in line with the joint IT and Business strategy; driving the transformation to a modern digital ecosystem, working closely with Parts Logistics business. The Scania IT team is closely integrated with the Global Scania IT organisation. You will work together with a team in Sweden on a regular base.

Your main responsibility is to identify how to resolve demands from the business in SAP. You will mainly work within S/4HANA for Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). Your main responsibility is the building of SAP solutions from receiving the business requirements until the production implementation. This includes the design of the high level concept and the solution proposal, perform the configuration activities, writing functional specifications including a close collaboration with the developer and secure an up-to-date documentation. Another important aspect of this job is the participation in testing activities in different environments. Also you will be involved in different projects related to your functional area such as implementation activities related to S4HANA for EWM, extension of new distribution structures and other strategic initiatives.

• A bachelor or master degree and a high interest in systems, technology and IT.

• You have work experience within SAP (EWM).

• Experience in S4HANA for EWM is a plus.

• Knowledge about Scania's parts processes can be valuable in this position.

• You are an analytical, quick learner and you like to participate in a team.

• You can easily connect with other people and you are an expert in understanding a problem and seeing what is needed to solve it.

• You speak and write fluent English. Knowing Dutch is an advantage.
