Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a:

As a Business Analyst, you identify and analyse business needs, translating them into IT requirements when necessary. You maintain close contact with stakeholders, conduct structured analysis of processes, and document business workflows and IT needs.

You explore opportunities to leverage new technologies, such as IoT and advanced analytics, to drive innovation. Acting as a key link between business and IT, you evaluate process changes, ensure optimal use of current solutions, perform cost-benefit analyses, and represent the business in steering the Parts process and IT roadmap.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Scania’s global organization and IT providers, focusing on transformation projects.

Business Analysts all have their specific area of expertise such as Planning, Warehousing, Finance, etc... However the intention is that a Business Analyst must also be able to develop towards other areas (multi-skill). You will lead process and system improvements for Supply Chain and Planning, including involvement in SAP transformation, multi-echelon planning, and other strategic initiatives. Occasional travel is required.

your talents                  

• You hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Logistics, Computer Science,.. and you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Skilled at aligning business requirements with effective IT solutions.
• Experience with an ERP planning system such as SAP.
• You are familiar with concepts such as business modelling and requirements management.
• You are an expert in identifying, understanding and solving problems while recognizing realizing opportunities.
• Strong customer-focus, communication and facilitating skills.
