Technical Support Manager - Scania Local Project 技术支持经理

A brief summary of the provided position as below :

The Technical Support Manager shall implement the overall HERO Service strategy to ensure HERO short term and long term success. The Technical Support Manager shall lead to design and implement the BU process and standard for vehicle defects solving and technical support etc. The Technical Support Manager shall build an efficient and professional technical team. The Technical Support Manager shall lead the team to provide fast and correct technical solutions. The Technical Support Manager shall understand and control the technical situation and report KPI’s to Management.

 

Duties and Tasks

  • Ensure appropriate structure and resources are in place to provide technical support to the network and customers
  • Define, develop and support the implementation of standards, procedures and routines for the responsible area
  • Initiate and develop cross functional communication and cooperation within the Business Unit
  • Identify required competencies based on current and future business strategy
  • Lead flying doctor team to assist the dealers in giving required technical assistance to customers
  • Coordinate with R&D team when additional resources are needed to solve a problem
  • Define dealers/workshops KPIs
  • Develop and introduce local technical solutions
  • Ensure that technical help desk is up to standard
  • Monitor and coordinate appropriate actions when technical breakdowns occur
  • Create and analyze decided KPI’s for technical situation (Top 10, warranty, break downs). Suggest and execute corrective actions if necessary.
  • Analyze failure statistics and see patterns & propose appropriate corrective actions
  • Financial and resource responsibility for department
  • Other service related work assigned by the line manager

 

Education and/or Experience

  • University degree in engineering
  • More than 15 years experience in HDT service area
  • HDT OEM or imported truck brand working experience is a must
  • Team management experience is a must
  • Spoken and written conversation and technical English
