The main role of Business IT Analyst is responsible for the functionality of several applications of the Scania IT Portfolio and enabling the Business Owner to use those accordingly. The main responsibility for the Business IT Analyst is translating business demands to IT requirements as a base for developing IT applications. To achieve a lean and target orientated requirement definition, an understanding of market standard applications as a reference is required. During the maintenance phase of an IT application lifecycle, it is the role of the Business IT Analyst to prioritize changes in the IT application based on business demands and business value.

Duties and Tasks
- Business Process IT Management
- Convener of process (blue) forum; facilitate the governance and decision making in a specific business process, which sets the framework and priorities for the IT road map(s)
- Identify and maintain business process / functional roadmap describing development/implementation ambitions in a specific time period
- Ensure that the business process plan for required IT resources and follows up outcome
- Follow up of IT plan alignment
- Control IT cost levels (are costs justified in business context)
- Business Analysis
- Capture and translate business needs into functional requirements
- Create Industry-/ Market Overviews as well as Best-Practice Application- and Process Evaluation as a reference for business process owner.
- Business Process understanding to support “Best-Practise” implementation and to reduce application customization to a minimum.
- Facilitate the business organization to define requirements (functional and non-functional), analyze them and suggest improvements
- Identify and maintain process maps and documentation
- Facilitates the CR preparation (demand description, business case etc)
- Prioritize Change Requests in maintenance
- Leads and coordinates the business modelling (processes and information).
- Identify and maintain information maps and documentation
- Train personnel in processes and IT
- Requirement Analysis
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning objectives and performance gaps within the organization
- Describe the business organization requirements (functional and nonfunctional), analyze them and suggest improvements
- Produce use-case models - the contract between the business and the IT. The use-case model is used as an essential input to activities in analysis, design, and test.
- Business Architecture
- Identifies, maintains and understands the full picture of processes, information and systems for a specific business process(area)
- Responsible for aligning to Scania central initiatives and standards
- Make sure that Scania monitors trends and events in the outside world
- Project Management
- Manage projects within the business process. Consider the Scania guidelines
- Business Acceptance Management
- Verify acceptance test cases – scope and quality. Secure that business needs are tested
- Approve and follow up test plan

Desirable experience and qualifications
- Actively service delivery and trouble shooting skills , fast learning is MUST
- Have CRM/ Webchat Application Design & Implementation experience will be preferred
- Creative in create solutions to problems
- Presentation & Training skills
- Background from the automotive and IT industry is required along with project and line management competence
- Solid team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external team
- Experience within the profession, 5+ years
