Apprentice of the year Finalist in northamptonshire logistics awards

Held at the Mercure Hotel, Northampton on 11th October, the event marks the successes of those working within the logistics sector and brings together the local business community to celebrate individuals going above and beyond. 

Jack's category, 'Apprentice of the Year', is designed to acknowledge and celebrate those who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to learn and progress, whilst actively delivering results within their team and wider business. Making it to the final five applicants in Northamptonshire is a testament to Jack's passion, tenacity and hard work. 

Having just started his final year of his 3-year hgv Scania apprenticeship, Jack is an integral part of the team at Northampton, where he continously demonstrates a methodical and efficient approach to his work. His proactive attitude to his learning has meant that he is able to rise to the challenge of any repair given. Coupling this with his natural flare for mechanics and initiative, means that Jack can find solutions, even when the job is not straightforward. 

"Still at the start of his career, Jack has achieved so much already, and show strong potential for his future," comments Branch Manager, Robert Vasey.

During his technical apprenticeship, Jack is provided with a structural learning scheme that combines both practical and theoretical training - delivering technical knowledge along with essential hands-on experience. Learning alongside mentors within his team provides new perspectives and guidance that have aided Jack's progression as he continues his journey, to be a fully qualified HGV technician.

The winner for this award will be announced on Friday 11th October, at the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards alongside 12 other awards taking place.
