Graduate Engineer Program
A six months program, starting with an onboarding with modules where you will interact with the graduate network to discuss and learn about topics such as; Scania’s culture, our way of working, strategy, people and sustainability, our operations, go and see occasions, technical training, project management skills and much more.
About the program
Graduate Engineer Program offers you a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge within the field of engineering. We will kick-start your career by giving you a deep knowledge about Scania and the industrial challenges that lays a head of us. We will provide learning modules and the prerequisites to exchange experiences in a large network from the start. We aim to give you a solid foundation for your development as an engineer for a future career in an international environment.
For whom?
Master/Bachelor degree. Graduates/young professionals with up to two years of professional work experience in their field of studies.
Location
Södertälje or Oskarshamn (Sweden).
Duration
Six months (with full time employment at Scania from day one).
Start
August 2025.
Language
Swedish (but proficiency in English is also required due to Scania's global presence).
Summary
Introductory program to kickstart your engineering career. Discover Scania’s culture, way of working and strategies. Participate in site visits and technical educations, and build your network and experience through rotations at three different production units/areas before commencing in your permanent position.

Who are you?

We expect you to have the ability and the drive to acquire knowledge both in an overall perspective and in certain areas in depth.

Application
The application period is from 13 January until 16 February 2025.
To qualify for the Graduate Engineer Program, you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have graduated between 2023 and the summer of 2025. You have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience of work, within your field of studies, at the start of the program.
A complete application includes a cover letter, CV, and a summary of grade records or your degree certificate. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
