Scania Family

Series 2

Scania Calendar

As part of the production of the 2023 Scania Calendar we took the opportunity to ask our featured customers all about their operation, their experience with Scania vehicles and the wider offering of solutions that we make available to them. The result? A set of beautifully-shot video testimonials that really capture what being part of the Scania Family is all about; a network of our people and our customers who are incredibly passionate about what they do.

Episode 1: Manners Transport

"THE ROLLS-ROYCE OF TRUCKS."

Manners Transport are based within the rolling countryside just outside Alnwick. To match their beautiful surroundings are their equally as impressive Scania trucks, which Fraser and the team take great pride in and see them as a way of attracting and retaining drivers.

Episode 2: Erith Group

"RELIABLE, RUGGED AND FUEL EFFICIENT"

The nature of Erith Group's work means they need vehicles that will always perform. But just as important is getting longevity from their trucks, with safety at the heart of their operation. That's why Scania are such a good match for them.

Episode 3: Liam Connolly Roadfreight Limited

"SCANIA IS THE ONE THAT EVERYONE ALWAYS WANTS."

Offering a hugely diverse range of delivery services across the UK, reliability is of the upmost importance for Liam Connolly Roadfreight Limited. We head to Northern Ireland for the next episode in this series to see how the business can rely on their Scania trucks to offer maximum uptime, in addition to impressive fuel returns, comfort and driver appeal.

Episode 4: Gavin Griffiths Group

"THEY LIVE UP TO WHAT THEY SAY THEY CAN DO"

It's not just a good relationship that keeps the Group coming back for more Scania trucks. The muck-shift work that they carry out needs a fleet of incredibly capable and reliable vehicles, and the backing of a full R&M package adds further peace-of-mind.

Episode 5: Campeys of Selby

"OUR GO-TO MANUFACTURER"

When Campeys of Selby began their journey with renewable fuel options, there was only one brand they were going to trust in partnering with. And with sustainability being a big part of their approach, it looks like a partnership that will continue to flourish over the years.

Episode 6: B&A Group

"IT'S JUST EPIC"

Tough working environments demand safe and durable vehicles. For the team at B&A Group they know exactly what they're getting with their 8x4 Scania chassis vehicles; an unrivalled performance with no compromises, allowing them to give their customers the best possible service.

Episode 7: Nick Brookes Group

"WE'RE LOOKING TO PROVIDE OUR DRIVERS WITH THE BEST VEHICLES WE CAN"

It's clear to see that Nick Brookes Group are big fans of the Scania XT range. Utilising a variety of body types, including skip and hook loaders, tippers and tipper grabs, they need a vehicle they can trust in the tough environments they operate in. That's where the XT excels for them; delivering fantastic reliability, robustness and longevity.

Episode 8: Hire Safe Solutions

"I COULDN'T AFFORD NOT TO HAVE A NEW SCANIA"

As Gerard explains our next film in this series, there's endless benefits of having Scania vehicles on his fleet. Reliability, comfort, residual value and driver appeal are just some of the perks, but perhaps it's the R&M package that holds the greatest value. He needs to be able to trust the back-up service is in place and ready to support him, just as much as he can trust the capabilities of the trucks whilst on the road delivering machinery to his customers.

Episode 9: A & D Transport (NW) Ltd

"THE MOST SPECIAL VEHICLE I'VE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRIVE"

It's fair to say that A & D Transport are fans of a Limited Edition Scania. They've been quick to get their hands on the Golden Griffin, the Blue Stream, and more recently the Flying Griffin. But that's part of their driver recruitment plan, or more to the point, not needing to invest in recruitment; the image their fleet portrays is enough to attract the drivers they need.

Episode 10: Tru7 Group

"THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WE DEAL WITH ARE UNBELIEVABLY GOOD"

Nothing but the best is the only requirement for Tru7 Group CEO owner, Guy Nicholls. But behind the scenes is the aftersales support that is provided from TruckEast Felixstowe; a complete package that allows Tru7 Group to continue delivering time-after-time for their customers. Guy wouldn’t have it any other way.

Episode 11: Whale Tankers

"WE'VE BEEN BUILDING MULTIPLE VEHICLES AND HAVE BEEN USING SCANIAS SINCE OUR CONCEPT"

There are a number of factors that contribute to a successful business partnership. A shared vision, communication, trust, and compatible strengths to name but a few. These are certainly true of the relationship that has evolved between Scania UK and Whale Tankers, particularly in their development of electric vacuum tankers.
