ACT Group and GCC Olayan Ink Deal for 50 Scania Trucks in Saudi Arabia
ACT Group signed to acquire 50 new Scania G440 A6X4HZ XT trucks from GCC Olayan, aiming to enhance its operations in Saudi Arabia's logistics sector for oil and gas industry. This strategic move adds to ACT Group's existing fleet of 17 Scania vehicles, further solidifying its position as a leader in the industry.
ACT Group’s record fleet expansion was driven by the outstanding operational economy Scania vehicles provide. They emphasized the cost-efficiency and reliability of Scania trucks, which play a crucial role in enhancing their fleet's performance. Furthermore, ACT Group lauded GCC Olayan's aftermarket support for parts and services, particularly noting the company's swift response to urgent requests. This decision aligns with their commitment to maintaining a high-performing and cost-effective fleet, ensuring they can meet their operational demands efficiently.
Partnership for the Long Run
Looking ahead, ACT Group expressed their intention to further expand their Scania fleet in the coming years, with plans to increase the number of Scania trucks later in 2025 and 2026, as part of their operational growth strategy.
