Scania is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of trucks and buses for heavy transport applications, and of industrial and marine engines.

Scania operates in about 100 countries and has nearly 35,000 employees. Research and development activities are concentrated in Sweden. Production takes place in Europe and South America, with facilities for global interchange of both components and complete vehicles.

In 2008, invoiced sales totalled SEK 89 billion, and net income amounted to SEK 8.9 billion. A growing proportion of Scania’s business consists of service-related products and financing; during 2008 service revenue totalled SEK 16.3 billion.

The Scania Image Bank is an ongoing digital collection of images related to business areas, in all their diversity. It includes images of trucks, buses and engines, pictures of staff, buildings and events, materials related to research and development, production, components and historical subjects. It's scope is global. The main focus is on our products after 1995.
